Using BODMAS Rule, we have
40 + [20 – {28 ÷ 7 – 3 + (30 – 5 of 4)}]
= 40 + [20 – {28 ÷ 7 – 3 + (30 – 20)}]
= 40 + [20 – {28 ÷ 7 – 3 + 10}]
= 40 + [20 – [4 – 3 + 10}]
= 40 + [20-11] = 40 + 9 = 49.
