Revise CBSE Class 12 Physics faster with a structured 13-day One-Shot Revision Course designed specifically for Board Exam preparation. Each chapter combines video revision, crisp theory, mind maps, important questions, NCERT solutions and MCQ-based quizzes so that students can revise concepts, formulas and exam-oriented questions in one place.
✓ = Included in the course
This course is designed for the complete revision of CBSE Class 12 Physics. To achieve effective and complete revision, students must follow all 7 tasks for every chapter in the given sequence:
1. Watch the Video Lecture → 2. Read the Theory → 3. Revise the Mind Map → 4. Solve NCERT Textbook Questions → 5. Attempt the Quiz → 6. Practice Important Questions → 7. Solve Previous Year Questions (PYQs)
Complete each task carefully before moving to the next one. Your goal is to make all 7 tasks green on your dashboard for the current chapter.
Do not move to the next day/chapter until all 7 tasks are completed and marked green.
Following this sequence will ensure that you cover the concepts, NCERT content, important questions, practice, and PYQs required for a complete CBSE Class 12 Physics board exam revision.
For the CBSE Class 12 Physics 2026–27 syllabus, the theory paper carries 70 marks. CBSE allocates marks at the unit level rather than officially fixing separate marks for every individual chapter. Electrostatics + Current Electricity carry 16 marks, Magnetic Effects of Current & Magnetism carry 17 marks, EMI + AC + EM Waves carry 18 marks, Optics carries 12 marks, Dual Nature + Atoms & Nuclei carry 7 marks, and Electronic Devices carry 7 marks.
Important: The chapter-wise marks below are therefore expected/revision-priority estimates, not an official CBSE chapter-wise guarantee. The actual paper can distribute questions differently within each unit.
Chapter 1: Electric Charges and Fields — High Priority | Expected: ~6–7 marks | Difficulty: Moderate. This chapter forms an important part of the Electrostatics unit and is highly relevant for conceptual questions, numerical problems and applications of electric field and Gauss's law. Students should focus on formulas, field calculations, electric flux and standard derivations.
Chapter 2: Electrostatic Potential and Capacitance — Very High Priority | Expected: ~7–8 marks | Difficulty: Moderate–High. This is one of the most important Electrostatics chapters for Board preparation. Questions can involve potential, potential energy, capacitors, combinations of capacitors and energy stored in a capacitor. Numerical practice and formula revision are particularly important.
Chapter 3: Current Electricity — Very High Priority | Expected: ~6–7 marks | Difficulty: Moderate–High. Current Electricity is an important scoring chapter with strong numerical potential. Students should revise drift velocity, Ohm's law, resistance, combinations, Kirchhoff's laws, cells and electrical measurements carefully. Regular numerical practice can significantly improve performance.
Chapter 4: Moving Charges and Magnetism — Very High Priority | Expected: ~6–7 marks | Difficulty: High. This chapter requires strong conceptual understanding along with numerical and application-based practice. Force on moving charges, motion in magnetic fields, Biot–Savart law, Ampere's law and moving-coil galvanometer deserve special attention during revision.
Chapter 5: Magnetism and Matter — High Priority | Expected: ~3–4 marks | Difficulty: Moderate. This chapter is comparatively more theory-oriented but remains important for Board preparation. Students should revise magnetic properties, magnetisation, magnetic materials, Earth's magnetism and related concepts. Crisp theory and a mind map can make this chapter much faster to revise.
Chapter 6: Electromagnetic Induction — Very High Priority | Expected: ~4–5 marks | Difficulty: Moderate–High. EMI is an important numerical and conceptual chapter. Faraday's laws, Lenz's law, magnetic flux, induced emf and self/mutual induction should be revised thoroughly. Understanding the direction of induced current is especially important.
Chapter 7: Alternating Current — Very High Priority | Expected: ~5–6 marks | Difficulty: High. AC contains several important formulas and numerical applications. Students should focus on RMS values, reactance, impedance, phasor concepts, resonance, transformers and power in AC circuits. Formula-based revision is particularly useful for quick preparation.
Chapter 8: Electromagnetic Waves — Moderate Priority | Expected: ~2–3 marks | Difficulty: Easy. This is a relatively short and scoring chapter. Students can efficiently prepare it through crisp theory and a mind map covering properties of electromagnetic waves, their nature, spectrum and applications. It is ideal for last-minute revision.
Chapter 9: Ray Optics and Optical Instruments — Very High Priority | Expected: ~6–7 marks | Difficulty: High. Ray Optics is one of the most important chapters for Board preparation and requires both conceptual clarity and numerical practice. Students should focus on mirrors, lenses, refraction, optical instruments, lens formulae and important ray diagrams.
Chapter 10: Wave Optics — High Priority | Expected: ~4–5 marks | Difficulty: High. Wave Optics involves important concepts and formulas related to interference, Young's double-slit experiment and diffraction. Students should revise standard derivations, conditions and numerical applications carefully.
Chapter 11: Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter — High Priority | Expected: ~3–4 marks | Difficulty: Moderate. This is a relatively compact and scoring chapter. Photoelectric effect, Einstein's photoelectric equation, de Broglie wavelength and related numerical applications should be thoroughly revised.
Chapter 12: Atoms — Moderate Priority | Expected: ~2–3 marks | Difficulty: Moderate. Atoms is a concise chapter with important concepts and standard formulas. Focus on Rutherford's model, Bohr's model, energy levels, radius and spectral concepts. A good mind map can help students recall the complete chapter quickly.
Chapter 13: Nuclei — High Priority | Expected: ~3–4 marks | Difficulty: Moderate. Nuclei is important for conceptual and numerical questions. Students should revise nuclear size, mass defect, binding energy, nuclear force, radioactivity and nuclear reactions. Formula-based revision can make this chapter highly scoring.
Chapter 14: Semiconductor Electronics: Materials, Devices and Simple Circuits — High Priority | Expected: ~6–7 marks | Difficulty: Easy–Moderate. Electronic Devices carries a dedicated 7-mark unit allocation in the 2026–27 CBSE syllabus, making it an important scoring area. Focus on semiconductor concepts, p-n junctions, diodes, rectifiers, transistor-related concepts and simple circuits included in the prescribed syllabus.
This CBSE Class 12 Physics One-Shot Revision Course is designed to reduce revision time without compromising syllabus coverage. Instead of using separate resources for lectures, theory, formulas, important questions, NCERT solutions and practice, students get everything chapter-wise in one structured learning flow. The combination of short video lectures, crisp revision theory, visual mind maps, important Board questions, NCERT-based solutions and MCQ quizzes helps students quickly recall concepts, identify important exam areas and test their preparation. With all 14 chapters organised across 13 focused revision days, the course is especially useful for students preparing for their CBSE Physics Board Exam during the final weeks or days before the examination.
