This policy covers both myclass24.com and the myclass24 mobile app. We collect information you voluntarily provide when registering or using either:

• Name and email address, via Clerk (our sign-in provider)
• Educational background — class/grade level, board, and exam goal (e.g. CBSE, JEE, NEET)
• Course enrollment and progress — completed lessons, quiz scores, and streaks
• Payment records — course purchased, amount, and status (never your card, UPI, or bank details — see Section 03)
• Your personal timetable entries, if you use the timetable feature
• Doubts/questions you ask teachers, and any ratings or comments you post on course pages

We also automatically collect usage data when you access the website or app:

• Browser type and device information
• Pages or screens visited and time spent on each
• IP address and general location data (website only)

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain your account, courses, curriculum progress, and timetable
• Process and confirm purchases, and unlock the courses you've paid for
• Let teachers see and respond to doubts you've raised on their courses
• Personalise your learning experience and recommend relevant courses
• Communicate with you about your account, enrollments, and — unless you opt out — new course updates
• Analyse usage patterns and diagnose crashes to improve the website and app

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, and neither the website nor the app shows third-party behavioural ads.

We work with a small number of service providers to run myclass24, and share with each only what it needs to do its job:

• Clerk — handles sign-in and session security for both the website and the app. Clerk stores your session token; we don't store it ourselves.
• Razorpay — handles all payment processing. Card, UPI, and net-banking details are entered directly into Razorpay's own secure checkout and never pass through or get stored by myclass24. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on myclass24.com. (The mobile app does not use cookies; your theme preference there is stored only on your device.)

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of those sites and are not responsible for them. Please review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

• Access & correction: your class, board, exam goal, and subjects can be edited any time from your profile.
• Deletion: in the app, go to Profile → Security & Account → Delete my account to permanently delete or anonymise your account data. On the website, email us at the address below and we'll process the request.
• Some records, such as completed payment receipts, may be retained where we're legally required to keep them.

Account sign-in is handled by Clerk with industry-standard session security, and all payment collection happens inside Razorpay's own secure checkout. We use standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all data sent to our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

myclass24 serves K-12 students, which we recognise includes children under 13 (for example, Class 6-8 students). For those users we collect only what's needed to provide the course and account features described above — nothing more — and we do not show behavioural or personalised advertising to any user, child or adult. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us personal information beyond this, or you'd like to review, correct, or delete it, contact us and we will promptly act on it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Please review this page periodically.
