Who appoints the judges of the High Courts?

Ans. The Chief Justice of the High Court is appointed by the President of India in consultation with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and the Governor of the concerned States. The appointment of other judges shall also be made in the same manner, except in their case the Chief justice of the High Court shall be consulted.
