What does the concept of equality means in the preamble?

Ans: The concept embodied in our Preamble is only that of equality of status and opportunity. This has legal, social, political and economic aspects. All citizens are equal before law and enjoy equal protection of the law of the land. Equality always means “equality among equals”. There can be no equality between paupers and princes.
