Describe unity in diversity in India?

Ans: India being the largest democracy has multiple cultural origins. It is a land of diverse cultures, religions and communities. There is great diversity in our traditions, manners, habits and customs. Each state portrays different customs and traditions. Yet, they all live together as Indians. People from different background and culture participated in the struggle for freedom. The freedom fighters namely Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose believed in the concept of unity in diversity.
