Ans: Ibn Battuta was an ardent Muslim who was born in Morocco. He was a pilgrim, jurist, courtier and a politician. He travelled for twenty nine years. He visited India, Africa and China. He is the only medieval explorer to visit the lands of every Muslim ruler in his time.
