What happens to your body during high G-force?

Answer
During high g-force, blood is forced away from your brain toward your lower body (during positive g), causing reduced oxygen to the brain. This progresses through stages: gray-out (peripheral vision loss), tunnel vision, blackout (vision loss while conscious), and finally G-LOC (G-force induced loss of consciousness). Your heart must work harder to pump blood upward, organs feel heavier, breathing becomes difficult, and you may experience chest pain. Extreme forces can cause hemorrhaging, broken blood vessels, and organ damage.
