The three forms of Ohm's Law are:

  1. V = IR (Voltage euals current times resistance)
    • Use to find voltage when you know current and resistance
  2. I = V/R (Current euals voltage divided by resistance)
    • Use to find current when you know voltage and resistance
  3. R = V/I (Resistance euals voltage divided by current)
    • Use to find resistance when you know voltage and current

These three euations are simply rearrangements of the same fundamental relationship. Remember: if you know any two of the three values (voltage, current, resistance), you can always calculate the third.
