Equinox

1. It is dependent on the sun’s rays falling on various tropics.
2. When the rays fall vertically on the days are longer & nights are shorter. It is also called summer solstice.

1.The days & nights are equal on 21^st March & 23 September when the sun’s rays are overhead along the equator.

2. Nights & days are always equal along the equator.
