Answer
- The solution becomes more acidic when the concentration of hydrogen ion increases
- The solution become more basic as the concentration of hydroxide ion increases
- If the pH is less than 7 it becomes acidic. Here the pH is 3 hence vinegar is acidic in nature
- When universal indicator paper shows pH to be 8 then can be concluded that the substance or solution is basic in nature. Here soap is basic.
