Watching television is inadvertently became a part of our daily life. And it is one of my favourite hobbies too. Television connects us with the outside world. There are different programmes to suit everyone’s taste. We can choose from a plethora of programmes from entertainment, movies, sports, news to kids’ section. Besides, many service providers now-a-days deliver education based programmes to the viewers. Watching TV has its own benefits. It increases our knowledge; give us information to improve our lives and provides a platform to widen our horizon. My favourite programme on TV is documentary films on wild life which comes on Planet Animal, Discovery Channel and National Geographic. It’s so fascinating to explore the unknown world and get a bird’s eye view of the wild life and landscape that surrounds us. These programmes inspire people to care about the planet. If we tune in to the right channel and programme, TV will always prove to be a great aid.
