Through your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of all the right-thinking people and the authorities to the noise pollution prevalent in A.T. Road.
Due to poor traffic control, the road is crammed most of the time and the vehicles keep honking unnecessarily. Loudspeakers, places of worship, marriages and shopping complexes also contribute in disturbing the peace of the area. Even at night there is no respite.
In the interest of the people living here, especially school students, this problem needs to be urgently sorted out. I request the district authorities to take proper action as the situation is just worsening.
