What do you mean by Indo-European languages?

Ans: It is a family of languages comprising of Indian language such as Sanskrit, Assamese, Gujarati, Hindi, Kashmiri and Sindhi, and many European languages such as English, French, German, Greek, Italian and Spanish. These languages are known so because they are from the same family of languages and had words in common.
