Ans. (i) The first reason is that the government has no its own media. When the government prevents either a news item, or scenes from a movie, or the lyrics of a song from being shared with the larger public, this is called as censorship.
(ii) The second reason is that the media also wants to focus on a particular aspect of a story, because they believe that this makes the story interesting and attracts the attention of the mass.
