Who is retailer?

Another type of trader is the retailer. A retailer buys goods from wholesale traders and sells them in smaller quantities to consumers. Retailers are the final link between the producer and the consumer. They may operate in weekly markets, neighbourhood shops, or shopping complexes. For example, a vegetable vendor in a weekly market or a shopkeeper in a local market is a retailer. Retailers make it convenient for consumers to buy goods in the quantities they need.
