What do you mean by the list system?

 Large multi-member constituencies are formed.
 Many members/representatives are elected from each constituency.
 Each political party submits a list of as many candidates as are to be elected from
political constituency.
 The voters vote for the list, which are indivisible to be elected.
 Each candidate has to secure minimum votes fixed by the quota to be obtained by
dividing the total number of votes polled to the party by the quota.
 The same number of candidates enumerated in the party list from top are declared
successful.
