The female reproductive system includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina.

• Uterine fundus – upper rounded part of the uterus
• Uterine cavity – hollow space inside the uterus
• Endometrium – inner lining of the uterus
• Myometrium – muscular middle layer of the uterus
• Perimetrium – outer covering of the uterus
• Ovary – produces eggs and hormones
• Fallopian tube – carries the egg from ovary to uterus
• Isthmus – narrow part of the fallopian tube near uterus
• Ampulla – wider part of the fallopian tube where fertilization often occurs
• Infundibulum – funnel-shaped end of the fallopian tube
• Fimbriae – finger-like projections that catch the egg
• Cervix – lower narrow part of the uterus
• Cervical canal – passage through the cervix
• Vagina – canal leading outside the body
