Describe the composition and the appointments of ministers of legislative assembly in a state?

After elections, the process of forming a government begins. The party that secures more than half of the total seats in the Legislative Assembly is invited to form the government. This party is known as the ruling party. The elected MLAs of this party choose their leader, who becomes the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister then selects other MLAs to become ministers and assigns them different departments. Finally, the Governor formally appoints the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, completing the formation of the government.
