Ans. The Ganga – Brahmaputra basin is very inhabitable for the men kind. The climatic conditions here are very good for the cultivation. Temperature is not so high here and it is good enough for the wheat, maize and other food crop cultivation. Monsoon is the major source of rainfall but besides that, Ganga and Brahmaputra are the rivers which provide water for irrigation through cannel. Western disturbances also help the crop to grow and they make the out product of agriculture better, like mangos rip in the month of November because of the rainfall cause by the western disturbances.
